About LinkBacksMy model 7 223 has an 18" tube. Had a play for fun at 400 yds the other day. 55gr SGK handloads did a 2" group on my gong. Could hardly hear the plate ring, but it'd still nail bunny's etc at that range with 350 ft lbs of energy. 17hmr at 150 yds only has 98 ft lbs and that flattens bunnies at 150.
