Anyone know anything about this blade, it has been fire damaged and I am wondering if it is worth restoring if possible to re temper the blade.Attachment 32502Attachment 32503

Unless you wanted to use it for it's original purpose, would it matter?
I can't see the pics very well on my ph but looks like a M1917?
It was/is a 1907 bayonet for a Lee Enfield. Seen better days that's for sure!
Leave it as is I guess
Being fire damaged it wont have any collectors value left.
I'd restore it as a winter project. :)
Just because you can.
Cheers
Pete
