That's an advantage in a way standard synthetic stocks are cheaper

My 308 was the same so I stuck some one piece Talley's on it. When I took the bases off they had a shitload of oil under them so no wonder they worked loose.
Tried getting a laminate stock for it but they sent a long action by mistake. For what I want the Hogues ok and my bargain turned into a project.
Now I have a 30 06 barrelled action on order to stick in it. Probably get Talley's for that too.
