    Best place to buy bolt?

    Hi all - if someone's already asked this feel free to point me towards the right thread (can't find one myself)...

    Hypothetically, if someone lost their bolt for a Remington 700 270, where is the best place to get a new/used one?

    Any help much appreciated,

    Replacement bolt and head spacing may cost more than the 700 .270Win does.

    Pacific tool and gauge, but by the time you have sorted all the paperwork and shipping, you would be better to find a second second hand remington and share one bolt for two guns.

    I would try Gun City. They have parts for a multitude of firearms and may have one to suit.
