Thread: Blaze vests - recommendations please

Just my two cents, I’m a big proponent of Hi Viz gear and I’m guilty of having more orange than 3km of roadworks on SH6/ being visible from outer space.
Not exactly what you are after but I wear a two colour (orange chest/ yellow arms) long sleeve Hi Viz Vests from the local safety shop for a couple of reasons, more Hi Viz material means greater chance of being noticed, two colours hopefully improves the odds with colourblind hunters and or different lighting conditions and to counter the often mentioned argument that faded hi viz can look like red deer fur it allows you to replace it for a new more vivid edition every so often for 20-25$. I buy XL sizes so can wear all my bits and bobs, bingo harness, pouches etc under and covered by the Vest. It might give you more options to be able to look for a non blaze vest for the gear etc and just wear a cheap and replaceable ( and brighter more noticeable ) blaze item on top.
Good to see it becoming more popular these days in any case.
