hmmm could work. went for through the magazine well, figured that would be where the least amount of force is generated when firing as the join is always going to be weak. could try cutting the forend off and see if they accept that

I have some Howa long actions here for sale. Brand new blued for $660 in 270 and 6.5x55 from memory. If anyone is looking to build something up. I have some SS actions but they are dearer than a whole rifle now.

I dont really need stocks at this point as I have nowhere to store them.
