Got this for a mate at the last shot show and he said it broke inside his gun bag. Anyone had a similar breakage? Looks like there was never much holding the dial on the first place.
Need to work out how to send it back to vortex for warranty.

From the vortex booth at the sika show, not the shot show. Will have a look on their website today.
@NZ32 Vortex have a faulty product return location in Auckland. From there, they can assess the item. Send me a PM or email me and I will send you the return item form. Look for your receipts in the meantime

Fair question @dannyb
Not all Vortex Optics have a serial number eg, monoculars, bino's tripods..etc. Because there are private individuals and retailers buying the Vortex gear from overseas and not from a Vortex Authorized dealer who is supplied by the Vortex Au/NZ agent, they are required to return the item back to the retailer in the country or origin. The issue gets tricky when an individual resells the item on the secondhand market and them requires lifetime warranty - that outcome will be decided by the Au/NZ agent.

I'm pleased to say I'm happy to help out where I can with Vortex.

Not a leupold warranty,![]()
Messaged Vortex Aus/NZ on Facebook today and should have it sorted. Got a form to fill out and and address to send it through.
Bought at the sika show from a both showing a vortex banner at the front so assumed it was legit. Might have a picture of the receipt somewhere but unsure.

Fast turn around, new red dot turned up this morning.
