Thread: Browning Blr takedown

Have been thinking about one of these for a bit now but it sounds like there’s some pretty serious QC issues. I’ve had similar issues with a modern browning in the recent past: not firing when line up on a sika stag who saw me exactly the same time I saw it. Moved to re-cock it the rifle and it was gone.

Anyone got thoughts on something similar that doesn’t have these issues?

I hear you. I'll reserve judgement until I hear back from Cameron Sports. How a product is supported makes a big difference.

Cameron Sports sorted me out. Much appreciated. In the end it was a bunch of rust inside the bolt slowing down the firing pin strike. I have no idea how that might have occurred unless it was contaminated or absent any lube somehow from factory but glad it was a simple fix.
