After doing what I hate need to get back into the positive.
Saw a Browning T Bolt 22 a wooden stocked one yesterday.
Really liked the look of it.

played with a left handed one in the shop the other day. was bloody cool. trigger felt good for a new gun. Action needed a firm hand but they smooth out with use by all accounts. Very tempted.

I've got one and while it hardly gets used it's a mint wee rifle. Shoots most ammo well.

a mate bought a a brand new 17hmr and it was shooting 6 inch groups at 50 yds.
when he cleaned it he felt the patch go loose in the last 2 inches of the barrel.
he cut that bit of the barrel of and recrowned it and now very accurate.
just remember this rifle was brand new so hadn't been molested so not sure what to make of the browning qc?

Designs been around for over 60 years, pretty sure all the bugs are ironed out. One plus is you can mount a scope as low as you like

No need to worry about lasting my tbolt was made in the 60's has probably had thousands of rounds through it and the action is still perfect and as accurate as my anschutz 1416 .
    What more do you want.

I was looking at one a while back, I really liked the trigger and the action was nice, I went back a little time latter and tried it again, this time the trigger was still nice but the action was kind of rough and notchy. My thoughts are this was because it was a shop demo with no maintenance and if it was looked after and maintained it would have still been like new. It did put me off buying the rifle at the time, well that and the price compared to a CZ or Ruger. I ended up with a Ruger while now wishing I bought the CZ and all the time wondering about that T bolt?
