Bought and X Bolt .308 recently from Gun City Hawkes Bay, brought it home with me to Christchurch, and put about 5 shots through it sighting it in, perfect. Went to get it out of safe, and checked it over as im, away for the weekend hunting and it wont load........ cant pull trigger, nothing happens........bolt doesnt appear to engage the firing pin........ seems the trigger is as far back as it can go, no tension on it, and as i said the bolt does not appear to grab and tension the firing pin. I checked the adjuster for trigger and it seems to be wound out quite a bit, still has that red crap covering it suggesting it has not been adjusted, but youtube videos show it wound in alot more..........Any ideas please?

id take it back to GC in chch- and or Gun works for them to check it functionally.
