I haven't tried the B22, but its a revision of the Mk2 which is a good rifle with one of the best factory triggers around. From what I've read of the changes they should be improvements.

Remington Model 34 - yes 1934! We lucked upon this little gun for $150 when my son was starting out. Everyone who shoots it loves it. Tube mag is great (you cant loose it) and can also take .22 shorts which are fun! The other day my young fella was plinking some 2 inch round steel plates from about 40 yards, good shooting I thought with open sights. These are 1/4 inch thick steel and hung from no.8 wire. One of the plates swung up and got stuck side on. He said dont worry and he hit the 1/4 inch edge of the plate with one shoot to send it swinging back down. Great gun.
My daughter has a CBC made in Brazil reliable and accurate

Another one for the Toz vote. My Toz 78 is more accurate than I can hold it and being Russian of course you can hammer a nail in with the front sight. Bought it second hand 20 years ago never let me down.
You're not wrong. The one I had, came without a mag, so I figured there was no real reason to keep it as any sort of classic, so I cut the barrel back inch by inch and filled the mag aperture with a piece of wood. Measured velocity and at 16" she was bloody spot on. Crowned the muzzle with a hand drill and it hit most things I aimed at. I fed it on a diet of $4 a box Ozzy stuff. Amazing rifles.
Krico and Voere nice little 22s and usually accurate. The risk now is parts - springs, pins, magazines etc can be very very hard to source.
