I brought a rifle with a burris scope that had a loose lens, I took it into Hunting and Fishing, they called up the burris agents and 2 weeks later I had a new scope in hand, a slightly different model but brand new.
    bloody good to deal with

The Burris warranty sounds better than the Leupold one...
Leupold fixes the scopes that come in, while Burris replaces them with a same/new model.
A good job and a good wife has been the ruin of many a good hunter.

The Burris warranty is sounding like a big draw card to the brand. Great to hear other have had a good warranty experience

I've had it done on my sixX about 4 years ago.

All I had to do was post it to Beretta nz and pay the postage one way. Took a couple of months but got it back all squeaky clean etc and I'm not the first owner like the OP.

Would not hesitate to recommend burris to anyone especially the older stuff.

Keep it simple- hand me a model 7 7mm08 and I'll be right

A couple years ago I lent one of my 338-06ai’s to a buddy. He managed to drop it out of a ladder stand. It landed on one of the scope bells and corner of the butt stock. Scope was a Burris 3x9 full field and the stock was a choate plastic. Sent the scope into Burris and they replaced it no questions asked…that scope was mangled too! My friend went to the choate factory for a new stock..told the lady he broke the one I had…she said”that ain’t supposed to happen!” Then gave him a free replacement. It’s good to know there are still places with good customer service.

My old Mauser was totally unscathed by its crash on the rocks…

A couple of weeks back i brought a scope for my Bergara takedown and it came with a tag around the scope saying, "No Questions asked".. So I'm happy with that.

Mine was a 1.5-6 x42ish illuminated #4 variant that the switch failed on. (obsolete model no direct replacement)
Local H & F sent it back for me, Got a call or email a week later offering me a choice of a Veracity 2-10X42 FFP or a Signature HD 3-15 Illiminated.
did some google research and asked for the veracity. Turned up a few days later. Really impressed with the glass in that.

Yeah I've used the Burris warranty once on a scope I got second hand. Shop sent it away and I had a new replacement within 2 weeks. Excellent service and the reason why I now have a bunch of Burris scopes, also bought a bunch of Leupold scopes happy with all the reputation of their warranty service but worried now that the new distributor won't keep up that level of service

So an update -- took the scope into the local hnf, they sent it away no questions asked.

Crosshair issue was demmed a fault with the product. Orignal xtrs are no longer in production so was offered and XTR 2 at no additonal cost. Arrived a couple weeks later including a complementary set of Buriss 34mm rings.

Now that what i call a company standing behind their forever warrenty

i bought a SH burris that wouldnt hold zero .sold the rifle because i thought it was the gun .turned out to be the scope .gave it to h&f and they begrudgingly sent it away and 3 weeks later got the lastest version of that scope no questions asked. was well impressed with there after sales service ( burris that is not H&F ) . At one stage had 8 burris scopes on various rifles . I rate them

however i got an exchange scope from burris 2 years back no problem for a scope with an electrical fault on the illuminator and it was well over 10 years old.
Dont you believe it. Burris made good on mates claim. No questions. He had original box, invoice. His was 20+. Spankers new scope. Beat that.
