    Burris Veracity PH

Anyone got their hands on a Burris Veracity PH (PEK) scope yet?

i've got a normal Veracity 2-10x42, it is a bit heavier than i would like but i have been impressed with its low light ability and ability to look into shade around bush margins at dusk.

Bringing up an old thread, have anyone been using these and have any up to date reviews? Tell us the good the bad and the ugly?

We have had a demonstration version at a couple of the SPARC 22LR series matches.

The turret takes some getting used to as there are no "clicks" - like the old Leupold VX1s.
They work well with a range finder that just gives range - you range the target, dial the scope until the distance comes up in the heads-up display and shoot.
The ones we have had at these shoots worked very well - we had multiple targets set up and you could dial to the distance (or dial the adjustment on the scope turret) and shoot.

Heya mate I have one myself. And can say they are worlds ahead of what scopes are on the market.
Iv owned multiple vx5s and the veracity wins all-day, when looking through the veracity vs another vx5 the veracity was about 10-20% brighter. When shooting in low light, it's like clock has been wound back 30min looking through the scope.
The reticle is one of the best in my opinion very usefull and not to buzy. Great eye relief. I'm still on the same battery from when 1st purchase over a year later.

The dial system is just a breeze to use. Range - spin dial and shoot. Be sure to get the gen 2 as it's illuminated

I ended up getting one after this thread dried up. Love it. Once you get all your data into the app and upload it to the scope, its just a matter of dialing till you get the range showing in the display. It has option to compensate for incline if you want that. I've had mine nearly 2 years, am not easy on gear and its behaved itself the whole time.

I asked our local HnF about these as I’m interested in the concept if/when I next upgrade scopes. Glass seems pretty good & the heads up display is a great innovation. The only downside I heard from “the gun guy” at HnF is they are a bit tricky to set up. Something about a set up step that requires a 100% accurate level of scope/rifle to calibrate the scope in initial set up. Anyone able to comment?

No different to any other scope/dial up scenario in terms of scope being level, height over bore etc. I’ve zeroed and set up a couple of veracity ph and eliminators using their app and it’s far from seamless but managed to get is sussed without needing instructions or whatever. Both the veracity and eliminator have horrendous chromatic aberration. Aside from that they’re a great bit of
Kit. Also I think I read somewhere the battery life on the PH is only 40 hours off 2x cr2032 so don’t forget to turn it off…
