Done a few trips and haven't changed batteries yet. I don't turn it on till I need it though. As far as levels go, yea you get "side to side" level set/calibrated the old way then sync that to get the level icon in the display showing accurately. Haven't noticed chromatic aberration but you've got me interested, will make a point of looking for colour fringing off!

Burris are solid. I would buy any sort of Burris over a Leupold. Burris have always seemed to have had their tracking and reliability sorted. Leupold not so much.

What is like the look of is the headsup making it a little bit more intuitive for dialing for a newbie.

I tried to take a photo but it came out crap so here is something of the interweb. The bottom bit in the middle is the cant/tilt the scope is on, so this reads level. Above that the Y is Yards, You just change that to Metres on the phone and sync it. The number at right is how much windage you need to compensate, so 2.7 mil or MOA depending on what you set it up with - Range is 573 yards. To dial range you just hold on target and turn the vertical knob and watch the number change till it matches your guesstimate/rangefinder. Always reset to 100 after shooting so you are zeroed for closer shots. Windage is managed via reticule and I just leave that at zero as I don't have phone sitting there ready to add for calculation.

This caught my attention after seeing it on The Hunters Club and the built in dial with range display etc. Looks like a cool bit of kit with a nice magnification range. Just quite heavy unfortunately which rules it out for me.

It's very basic to setup. Iv have a tikka with normal Talley rings and thats it. It requires no more information than any other digital scope dose. Scope height , speed and b.c. bullet weight etc.
