About LinkBacks+1, I've purchased firearms in the UK (lived there for a couple of years) and brought them back via a stop off in Korea. No problems at all, just declare them and all is fine.
The purchasing side of things I'm not sure about though if you're just there on holiday? I don't know what the US firearms laws are in this regard?
