    Nice, but I would prefer a true 1-6x24 scope on an AR.

    Other than the aesthetics of it, is there really much benefit to be gained over using any other scope with a decently sized objective?

    The difference in light gathering between a 24mm objective and 44 or 50mm objective is rather a lot I'd have thought, particularly for hunting around dawn and dusk.
