    Can suppressor calibre be changed?

Hey guys just wondering if suppressors can be changed to larger calibres by drilling them out? If possible does anyone know of a gunsmiths in the Wellington region that will do it?

I have asked this question in the past and got mixed response, I think it depends on the suppressor, if it is of Alloy construction then drilling the bore out will remove the hard anodising and shorten the life of the suppressor, I guess if it had stainless internals it might be ok. I have had it done in the past but knowing what I know now I would just sell and buy in the right bore size.

Save your money and buy the correct one for the calibre. You could fuck it up and end up with no suppressor

depends on which make...if DPT,buying another set of appropriate baffles is simple matter to do..and old set can either be onsold or used elsewhere... agree better to buy another than risk stuffing what you have..
