    While I have proper rifle cases, one of the nice things about AR's is the split in half so easy so I sometimes use a musical case I bought at a op shop for $10 and filled with scrap foam. Cheep as and no one knows what's in it-even most shooters would never guess as it looks to short for a rifle-always nice at airports. . Has locks so is legit for flying

    Given how anal public transport is about carrying arms, this has merit.
