Hi all. Was just reviewing our pricing and had a look at Greystone's prices, as one does. Have I missed something or are we comparing two different offerings with the $400 vs $290 commentary?

My $290 includes the stock (and suppressor, etc) being done, but you need to pay an extra $250 on top of the $400 to include your stock at Greystone? Making it $650.

Honestly not trying to stir up a hornets nest on this. Just trying compare apples to apples.

Does this actually mean that the same job is really $650 vs my $290? Or have I got it totally arse up?

Not too sure but this is what I paid and what I paid for



$550 got me this-
308 Rem 700 MDT chassis
Strip barrel and action from chassis and Cerakote the following items and reassemble.
Coyote Tan - Barrel, action, bolt shroud, bolt knob, safety catch, trigger shoe, Vortex scope rings, Vortex scope sunshade Armour Black - Bolt body, bolt handle, cocking piece, 12x scope ring torx screws
Remove tan paint from off Vortex scope and dust covers

(kind of) Off topic but I've just read that Victor passed away while on holiday overseas... very sad to hear, he was a very good guy to deal with and provided an excellent service.. he'll be missed.

Where did you read that?! That's terrible news.

His brother posted it on facebook

Killed in a car accident overseas. Didn't know the guy but he seemed really nice with lots of happy customers.

Bloody top bloke who always had time to chat and have a laugh, tell some lies and enjoy a tipple of Makers Mark 46.
Going to be missed, we were working on some plans for all my skeleton stocks but alas no more...
Wish i'd had more time to learn from him, his talents will be missed...

Such sad news, condolences to his family and friends.
Victor was a great guy.

Won a free 2nd coat from Victor....went back and forward on which rifle, what colours. Decided to pick up when he returned from Thailand. Bloody good guy to yarn to. Sadly missed.
