About LinkBacksVortex Diamondback HD binos are good value. I just got a 8x42 pair from Jacobs Digital. $385 to the door (now $369). Lifetime warranty and chest harness included. Haven't used them for hunting yet (no need for binos in Northland bush!), but have taken them tramping and think they'll be adequate for my needs. There is a 8x32 in the same product line, but annoyingly, the chest harness isn't included.
