Thread: cleaning the HMR

They are dirty little buggers for sure, get a fair amount of copper out of mine

I clean mine when it starts to Miss stuff. Have finger size gongs at 50 and 100 off my deck. If You miss them it's time for a dung out.
Wet pull through with copper solvent. Soak 1/2 hour then same again till no more blue stuff.
Probably every 200 rounds but it is stainless and I reckon blued needs more often. Last year mine saw 20 something boxes of ammo thru it
It's worn out a few suppressors so far but still accurate enough .

Kero and a pull thru. 2X yearly Autosol spring clean.
