I have a new Marlin 1895 Guide Gun in .45/70 coming, I intend to use it with Skinner aperture sights, I've heard very bad things about MarlinQC since the Remington takeover though so I'm a little concerned about that

Then if its what you want screw a 338 tube on it with a saum chamber.

For $1399 its a hell cheap project

They also show a 6.5 pound "Superlight" with a Bell & Carlson aramid fibre stock $1899, cheap as project.

AND new Model 7 rifles, ( lighter receiver than a Titanium ), $1199, again hell cheap.

    Wooohooo more projects.....
I have a 700 action and 6.5 SAUM reamer and 338 reamer for doing the neck and throat....just need a stock and barrel, I have allways wanted a 45-70 though but I may shout the kids a .223 Marlin rifle and build mine and get one later....I dont need a 45-70 just want one the problem is if I build the 338 SAUM it will do any I need the 45-70 for

Yep, I have a hankering to smack a pig with the Snider carbine. Hasn't been fired in about 50 years so I might get Leathel to pull the trigger first.

I have a 300 whisper in my sights.

    Shortened and suppressed.

Load subsonic and supersonic as you feel the need.
