Yes I've changed settings to 'show hidden files' and plugged the card into my laptop both on it's own and via a cord into the trail cam.

Nothing on there that I can see but a series of short videos looking at an A20 self setting trap.

Thanks for your suggestions though. If I'm feeling bored I might start entering some numbers.... might strike it lucky.

so if you can see videos on the SD card..which have been taken by the camera....what else do you need combo number for??? does camera not turn on and start taking photos without it???

I took the SD card out of the camera and viewed it on my laptop. I guess I could continue to use the camera if I was happy to always take video clips of 10 seconds in length, but that's not what I want to do with it.
