    Budget, I will spend what I have to, I have learned the hard way in that department. No real economy in busted scopes. I have a wee family so I can't get carried away, the cheaper the better. Its not cheap if it breaks.

    Magnification range, 4 at the bottom is fine, 12 or higher at the top will do.

    What are the Vortex scopes like?
