Yes ONYVA the Steyr was a weapon that did a good job and their owners were always fond of them. It had a problem though that I remember with the handgrip/pistol grip. it was quite fine and slim, fitting the hand really well. What used to happen if you took a fall and the butt went down on a tussock clump it would snap through the grip. The stock was expensive to replace to.
Does this description fit the woodwork on your rifle ONYVA.
yes, I have taken a few tumbles with it and it has not broken, tussock? thats a bit high for me, Urewera's & Whirinaki when I was younger.
