    Love this thread how the same topics keep rolling around and around.

    In my experience yes you do need and adjustable gas block, you get sick of the smell of ammonia from the blowback very quick, recoil increases noticeably and rifle is quieter with the gas turned right down. Would do it on an un-supressed AR even
