    Fast twist 224 factory options

I'm looking at fast twist 224 factory options. The logical choice is one of the many 1:8 twist 223 floating around, but would ideally like something with a little more capacity to push 75-80gr over 3000fps. Any factory 224 Valkyrie rifles in NZ that you guys know about? Any other suggestions

Beretta sell a 1:8 T3 in .22/250 over here. Now if it were me, I'd ai the chamber or run a creedmore reamer up it so reduce the case strech and a little more reach.

224 terminator???? so basically a .204 necked back up (nearly back to 222 magnum 204 came from but with larger case capacity)
    22-250 with faster twist....
or just buy a .243 and be done with it.

The 1:8 twist T3 in 22/250 would be my first option. Perhaps worthwhile getting in touch with Beretta NZ or anyone aware of one floating around in NZ? Agree with the upgrade options. I owned a 22-250AI with 1:8 twist and loved the rifle, but the 22 CM would perhaps be a better alternative.

Micky Duck, the 22 Terminator would be my first option if I’m required to start from scratch without any other options. Already have Greg lined up for a few question. Unfortunately I still have some time on my side.

I tried to get one about 6 moths ago. The agents weren't interested.

so if a 1:14 twist 22-250 is great and will stabilize all sorts of useful projectiles including a 63grn semi point....a 1:12 or 1:10 twist must really be able to handle a heck of a lot more useful types......a 1:8 at the speeds generated will be plurry hard on projectile integrity MAYBE something in above twists might be better option anyway.

Micky Duck, I owned a 1:8 twist 22-250 AI and shot 80gr ELDM out of it without any trouble. My challenge with the lighter and shorter bullets that you can stabilize with a 1:14 in a 224 is wind deflection, especially if you start stretching the legs a little. Running 75gr + bullets at 3000fps + ads a whole new dimension to a 224 with ow recoil and ballistics that compares relatively well the 6mm and 6.5 for plunking and practice.

The 22-250 Schultz and Larsen barrels are all 1:10" twist.
