BSA CF2 .243
Thank God for Trade Me...I have dumped some junk on there....303 with bulged barrel (mate used it for walking stick and when those searching for him fired a shot to help locate him, he fired the .303 forgetting about the 200 mm of dirt in barrel}...a semi auto shotty that had been shortened beyond legal limit...a 6.5 that had been stashed under a shed for a couple of years...an M1 that had been lying along side it...are just some of them.
Shitty Brno semi auto .22, use to carry my bolt action over my shoulder as backup for when the bloody thing jammed solid, nearly every trip!

x2 mossberg ATR100's in 308, a SMLE 303 that couldn't hit the side of a barn door and a norinco bolt action 7.62x39
Can't think of any, I would like them all back.

A bunch of hunting builds that all taught me more about what I actually wanted/needed. While emptying my bank account
A t3 7mmwsm-wtf a caliber made to make the most of a short action in a long action, marketing gone mad.
Some old army rifles that could not shoot strait-I'd I'm going to collect it I have to be able to shoot it and have a chance of hitting the target.
And that brings me to the next, all my c cat stuff-all very cool but just taking up $ and space at the end of the day for me,while tempting me to be a bad boy.
Nope nada, zip, zero, nothing at all.
My first rifle, a Lakefield .22 it was such a shitter. Took ages to flick it through the Trade & Exchange, no Tardme back then...
Ruger Mini 30, loud before the suppressors went on the market, a pain to clean and 3" groups at 100m.
Remington 597. Started off incredibly accurate and a smooth shooter, eventually kept FTE despite volquartzen extractor, constant cleaning. Basically a single shot semi :D
Thank you TradeMe.
Escort 20g semi shotgun, when fired it broke the magazine tube and spat spring, tube and bits on the ground for 3 metres
JW15 .22 work the bolt a we bit too fast and it folded the cartridge in half, too scary for me.
In the future when I write my memoirs, they will show l will be glad to have sold atleast half of my current collection and disapointed with half the guns I will replace them with. ;) ... but hopefully they won't be as bad as the .22 Norinco BA with an egg shaped barrel I had.
Mossberg 802, what a POS.
Baikal single shot 308, and a Remington 7400 308. Both very average.
The Rem 597 ? , you know the 22lr semi-auto , which the bolt runs on 2 guide rods , nice fitting adult stock for a rimfire , everything else was crap on it , very happy to get rid of that one .
S&W 916 pump action shotgun , that was a real lemon by S&W , it was the biggest jama matic I have ever used , this was back in the days where pump action riot guns where quite rare , and well before the internet days .
The later S&W 3000 , pump gun was basically a better designed version of the Rem 870 , in reguards to , the shell being able to once in a while get jammed between the bolt & lifter , the 3000 had a bit of extra room , so you could clear it easier if this happened .
SO the 916 was rubbish , and the latter 3000 was a better designed & made Rem870 .

Glad I got rid of these:
Stirling M20P in .22LR, cycled fine, but had shotgun pattern groups with any ammo.

Horrible to carry with sticky out mag at the centre of gravity and heavy barrel. Imported a VX2 4-14x40 AO that when I went to fit it in the Opticlocks, was touching the heavy barrel. :pissed off: Went and locally got some god damn awful adjustable Warne rings which had lumps of metal sticking out into the scope, severe lapping requirement! Glad I offloaded the rifle and the Warnes. Even sending to new buyer was a pain, as went via his gunsmith. Replaced with a few other .223s before settling on the current Sako 75. Much happier. :D

I think the greater irony of this thread is people finding out their POS was sold unknowingly to a forum member:thumbsup:
I think I may have the Dogmatix 22 but it also fails to cycle now
Not as much sold but I guess you could call it sold for the cost of shipping. I'm glad I got rid of it as the guy shot his first ducks with the shotgun. Beats my plans to try and see how long it'd take me to kill it.
Having read this thread it convinces me to never buy any firearms from you buggers.
Na. Its not yours. This one looks and is worse than that. I should know better by now than to buy guns on TMe without eyeballing them first. Goes also. for a certain Xbolt that I foolishly bought but managed to sell on (that pos will be floating around the market continuously I imagine)
44 Ruger magnum semi auto, was my pig hunting gun. never knew when it was loaded or not. Had a tendency to self load if the Mag was in and you were pushing thru scrub.
none and never will.
Brought them for a reason.
Oops!
Had a couple I don't regret selling - not because there was anything wrong with them, they just didn't suit what I wanted to use them for.
1) Savage 22mag. Good reliable rifle, shot sub-inch groups at 100m, but I learnt that a 22mag is in the awkward middle ground where it isn't cheap to feed like a 22LR, but doesn't have the versatility of a 223 either.
2) Savage Mod 12 204 varminter - lovely to fire, horrible to carry. 26" truck axle barrel and 10lb bare. Turns out thats not ideal when most of your shooting involves walking up and down hills. Offhand shots are hard work too!
Firearms you're glad you sold.
one of these pos

.22LR RAF semi-auto, and a Savage pump action 12g shotgun. Both were more reliable for clubbing than shooting.
Had one of these too Fantasic, except would drop 1 shot in 5 regardless of what we did to it - but still shot really really well apart from that one shot. In the end I had to sell to get something a bit more consistent and bought a CZ American in LH that shoots groups of half your thumbnail @ 25 off the rest. Now I just know the inconsistency is me!!!
Amazing what a head fork just one in 5 or 1 in 10 shots can be. The guy who has it now will be really happy with this for shooting rabbits where the tolerances aren't quite the same!
I would expect a good 22 to shoot that at 50m at least.
Below is the full list of all the firearms I'm glad I sold.
Cheers
Pete ;)
