Yip, not everyone's cup of tea and pretty heavy, but I just cannot complain about the performance of this wee gun over all for the price, and it fits in any bag you like broken down - except for hand bags of course.
Second or third post here for me so here's hoping the attachment attaches...standby...

I have the same setup in 300BLK. It's a sweet little bush rifle. Minimal recoil and noise.

Moved down south and have decided to do a bit more long range/prs type shooting for fun.

Got this setup after a bit of shopping around. Custom Guns in Invercargill had this scope & rifle for a sharp deal. Bergara Wilderness HMR in 300PRC. Bit of a laser and is doing the deed. Loves the Hornady ammo.

They’re an underrated rifle for sure. I’ve had a few.
They are heavy but it makes them a pleasure to shoot for their length.

The bolt knob appears to be at a wrong angle but that could just be the camera angle.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    Nope.

It has been modified to take Arisaka Type 30 Bayonet...
In longrange riflery, trajectory is the pure science part. Gravity is a constant for our purposes.
Wind is in the art department.
    Light is pure fucking voodoo.

34 days for my scope to do a lap of the world, visit the swaro factory, and back in my grubby mits. Back on the wee kimber and it's shooting great. Just shooting some factory Fiochi 95gr SST stuff at the moment cos I'm a lazy prick and can't be bothered reloading, it's pretty anemic at just over 2800fps but will do the job out to 300 untill I can be bothered getting on the press again. Real impressed with the little Nielson Sonic Compact suppressor, really compact little unit with stainless internals on the wear points of the baffles and total rifle weight still under 3kg. Kind of like this wee rig again despite the journey its been to get it up and running properly

Most of you have seen this in some form or another, mk v ultralight custom build stainless action, 30 06ai finally had the time to mount up the scope. Did load development using a vx3 3.5-10×40, it's now wearing a vx5hd 3-15x44 duplex sitting in Talleys.
Pretty sweet rig and only 3.27kg, can't wait to sight her in at the range later this week

the muzzle brake is aluminium so it's quite light but very much needed, the ol 30 06ai has a fairly decent recoil without it pushing 178gn pills, it's a pussy cat with the brake though more like a 308 shooting 120gn pills
