yea man and if you notice the 325 meter group is identical pattern to the 100 meter one, dunno if thats just my shooting or thats how it is, seems consistant though.

yea mate so bore sighted then shot @25 to get lined up, shot 3 was 3 or so inches high made the adjustment and then out 456 into just over 1/2 an inch. Had worked out roughly what the hash marks ment on the reticle and gave it a worle , @ 325 certainly would have killed a deer. My thoughts on the glass is excellent but probably lacking slightly to the sIII in brightness but I am impressed with the paralax as it has no adjustable and while it may not be as crisp throughthe field of range its certainly not blurry or obstructed

Growing to dislike long rifles so the 7-08 barrel was sent up to DPT and 3 and a bit inches removed.

Very good job with tidy threads and crown. Let's see if the old load will shoot or if it needs work.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Close enough to 19". Was 555mm or 21.9" (standard non-mag barrel).

Maybe get Abe to make you up a tac knob for your bolt.
Will speed up cycling a bit.

Hearing a lot of good things about the HD 5. Have you used it much? German built one eh?

This one is brand new mate.
I've shot plenty of animals with my other one.
The glass is very crisp, I'd rate it between the z5 and z6, they dial reliably, have zero stop, 18 moa a turn heaps for the real world. My only dislike is the locking turrets they are big, no drama for a bunny gun.
    Yes made in Germany.
Yes I'm after a tac bolt knob.

I've got an HD5 3-15. Great 'scope, and the thing that I really like is that the turrets are calibrated in pounds, shilling and pence and not this crazy new decimal system.
