Wouldn't wanna get shot in the eye with it! You could even attach little sewing needles to the end of the darts!

I know that most on here probably think I'm just a AR fanboy but for pure shits and giggles I think the AK platform wins hands down.

    Sako 308 bolt fluted, trigger played with,shortened ,GW Suppresser. VX-3L 4.5 x14 x50
Heavier than the T3 at 3.7 Kgs but is to be my walking stick...

Theres a point what weight is considered light and what is heavy ??

Any reason why you bought two guns which both could fit the exact same purpose?

I'm presuming a middle ground theory with the 6.5x55 being a little cooler than a 308 and a sako being a little cooler than a tikka?

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Lots of reasons mainly to replace a heavy .243 that I liked except after carrying it all day, and a heavier Sako 85 Wood that I started to wreck in the bush, and didn't like to carry too far.

I also have heaps and heaps of reloading gear for both, brass, projectiles etc. These just popped up at really good prices, same as the scopes etc..

Figured I d set the 6.5 up for fallow in the wide open spaces and the 308 is my bush gun. Consolidation as well three guns gone two as good or better ones arrived.

They are better guns for me and my type of hunting. It all just fell together ... Man there's some good buggers on here to do deals with for sure !!

Just don't ever weigh your gun and you will be happy in life. Please no-one weigh my Blaser setup, I'd hate to hear a number attached to it. Once there's a number, you see other people's numbers and go "oh his is .2kg lighter than mine, maybe I can make mine lighter" and then you will never be happy. Pick it up, carry it, be happy. Don't weigh it.

I had a hoon on an unadulterated ex-Khmer Rouge AK47 in January when I was in Asia. They're so goddamn fun.

Was also offered the chance to shoot an RPG at a cow for $400usd. Or throw a grenade into a bunch of chickens for $100usd. I politely declined.
