Most of my ammo is stored in pieces. If Mr Burglar wants it he'll have to sit down for a session on the press.

That's a work of art, given that rimfire's are the field guns that a lot of people use the most I don't understand why more people don't do things like this

How do you find the PST? Is it the 2.5-10x44?

Yep that is the model @Hunter_killer it's a good scope, had it on my .243 but better suited for the bunnies and hares, PST recticle helps in the darker spots.

Nah, always had the suppressor. Stock was looking rough as guts after a few tumbles, so I got it hydro dipped in wood grain pattern, and bead blasted barrel and action to take out scratches etc. Looks like new now.

As some of you may know im quite a fan of the little Rem Model 7's, i do however have one Tikka, a M595 in 284 win which i love. I however have never owned a Tikka T3......until now.

A few months back i purchased @buzzman's near new T3 in 7mm08 that he'd already fitted the long action mag and bolt stop and had the barrel lopped back to 17", it was the perfect candidate for converting to a 284 SuperPig.

After receiving it i was keen to see if the barrel was a 'shooter' as it was as a 7mm08, so loaded up a handful of 140 NBT's at 1gr under max and seated the pills to where they 'looked' right and headed off to the range......

I then started playing around with a 284 case and a 162 Amax, these things were made for each other....

And the decision was made to send it away to Gunworks to get it re-chambered in 284 win. I got Robbie to use his reamer with a .316 neck and had it throated to suit the 162 seated out.

I just received the barreled action back today, and have it all back in one piece and bore sighted waiting to try some test rounds.

Even if i can only get the 162 Amax doing a max of 2750 (using standard powders, ive got some 7828ssc to try), it appears to still hold 1,000 ft lbs of energy to 850 yards, gotta love high BC bullets.

Hopefully it still shoots like it did.
