Yep. Sure do. I was just reusing the rings and bases I had on hand. Haven't got a riser yet. Any you recommend?

@nowool haha yep I held on to my trusty 308 as well. That's what the scope came off. I'm putting a Zeiss terra 3x 4-12 back on the 308. Excited to shoot some more 6.5 needles though

Grantn, if your going to use a 56 mm obj, first I’d try to get mounts that put the scope bell as low as possible. Right on the barrel without touching it. The twin needle stock pack looks pretty good but a piece of closed cell foam and duct tape work well also and is cost effective!

10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

This is my new toy. Tikka t3x in 270, SHV 5-20x56 on top with a DPT can. Not as expensive or fancy as some of the other cool rigs on this forum, but I saved up for it and I'm pretty proud. Now all I have to do is find somewhere in Canterbury to sight it in.

Picked up a bare howa alpine minus the bolt off here a couple weeks ago it was already chopped to 18" and threaded, through the magic of this place I have managed to sort a bolt, zeiss terra 2-7x32 and a set of talleys ex low rings.
She's come together nicely now just need the weather to calm the fuck down so I can get it shooting.
Whole package weighs in at 3.5kgs scoped and suppressed which is not bad when you consider most other rifles in the same dress in that weight bracket would cost 3x what this owes me just for the bare rifle.
Can't wait to take a beast with it....but it may have too

A carbon stocked model seven in 7m08. I’ll chuck a suppressor on it too.

I’m going to try to get it down to the same weight as my Tikka .308, 2854 grams, or there about.
