Cool, cheers for that MG, so cerakote seems to definately be worth the extra cash.
Anyone had a rifle coated and put through some hard use?

"Here's the deal I'm the best there is. Plain and simple. I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence."
I have ha firearms with both coatings but have not put them to such hard field use to tell the best from that.
I have had a non firearm item coated with ceracote and it has been thrashed very hard. The coating has outlasted three previous sorts of coatings used, including home application duracote(not as good as pro baked I'm told).
I'm glad there are now places in nz to get ceracote done, I'll be getting some prices myself shortly.
