Cerocoat is usually rated as the best , over duracoat & others , BUT you need to realise their are 2 types of Cerocoat , one thats heated/baked on , and one that air drys , the air dry is for scopes & stocks etc , the baked one for steel , its the baked cerocoat that has the highest rating in reguards to toughness etc .

I have chosen to only use oven cure, mostly as it is expensive to buy but if I had to buy twice as much it would cripple me. .....only thing is the air cure series handles higher temperatures, so is better for military machine guns etc. Still the oven cure is rated to 650 deg C
