    Heavy barrel jw15

    Picked this up a couple of days ago
    It’s pretty much a jw15 action with a heavy barrel and more of a target style stock
    It’s factory Original definitely not a rebarrel job
    Thinking Military?

    Never seen one before

    Can anyone shed any light

    I have one with the same markings, serial number in double digits
    Same heavy barrel, but different woodwork.
    Like yours its a Jian Wei.
    Shoots extremely well.
    He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

    You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
    Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

    Yes they are a little better than the Chinese earlier ones! bamboo tubes containing gunpowder and pellet projectiles
