Thread: HNT26 chassis Tikka rem mag

Before I spend ages online trying to find an answer, does anyone know if a 20 inch tikka rem mag with a "super pig" DPT suppressor would fit in an MDT HNT26 chassis. I haven't cut it yet and I would like to future proof. Very specific question but maybe someone has done it.

If you have no joy, work out the proposed dimension on your rifle then email MDT customer service for the dimensions from say front action screw to end of stock.

Thanks a good idea. I held a 20 inch tikka "super pig" next to a rem 700 hnt chassis today to eye ball it. I would guess the tikka barrell would need to be 20 and a half inch or 21 inch to fit in that chassis.

i have a 16 " tikka and an 18 " begara in the hnt 26's. using an over barrel DPT on both. 18 " has a couple of inches of barrel between the end of the forestock and the suppressor bush mount, the 16 " has the suppressor bush mount going into the fore stock

Given the above photos and details 20” should be sweet

Mk2 Dpt magnum cans come back 170mm, how far does yours come back? Work that out and you'll have your answer.

I have a tikka 7mm rem mag in a hnt26 chassis, barrel is standard 24.3 inch barrel with a brake on it, I've marked 20 inches forward towards the muzzle from where the barrel mates into the receiver and that measurement back to the furthest point of the forend is 210mm, your dpt magnum suppressor is 170mm over-barrel 210mm-170mm equals 40mm clearance.
