I like the weight of that one a lot more!
I wonder what the price will be.

The Sharps Heatseeker chassis retails around $550-580 USD so its always going to be a slightly more costly option in NZ. Although the MLok ultralight handguard appears to use a standard AR type barrel nut which might be an excellent option for those with left-over parts that won't have been adequately compensated previously.

On the other hand, the ORYX retails slightly cheaper at around $399 USD so its going to work out to be a cheaper price point, but you sacrifice the ability to customise the butt-stock and adjustability for your required LOP especially if you are not of average build as the inserts cost money. The ORYX chassis is super rigid though and feels more well-built as compared to the higher-priced KRG Bravo chassis. I did play with the ORYX and KRG Bravo chassis at Reloaders and came to this conclusion.

I'm looking at getting one of these in Grendel, have a lot of powder and dies left over from my departed hunting rifle. I played with the Oryx a week ago, i didn't hate it, it was better in the flesh than I anticipated. I just don't like the weight. I like the look of the side winder but im in half a mind just to leave it in the factory stock. This is another option coming out too https://jtacindustries.com/collectio...lf-owl-chassis

hi new to site x sportshooter got a oryx stock for my 300aac but comb is to high for standard optics but will be great with a rail and in 223 ,then you can use your old ar hold over optics . also the weight makes it more suitable for longer range use which one can do with the 223 . so I may on sell .

The Sharps stock is 50% more than the Oryx, but half the weight (4.2lb vs sub 2lb). Also, the recessed bolt travel path means you can use those pesky paperweight ACOGs

55six as will as Reloaders, plus the GRS agents here carry them. Gun city had a deal fitted to a action "complete rifle" for a amazing price. If you did'nt already own a brand new one it would of been the cheapest option I've seen to date

Does anyone know if APC make them for the mini-action?
