Thread: HS Stock conversion -- opinions please

I have just rescently got my HS varmint stock after 2 years waiting for my mod70 300wsm.

project nearly finished now need to have suppressor rebuilt due to the stock length change.

i have concern though. has anyone had issue with wear on the HS stock? i have a matt black finish to mine but it doesnt feel very hardy. i recn its going to scratch and dent to buggery in the hills.

should i coat with a harder compound?

this is in comparrison to my BandC stock and mates mcmillian
