Rifle- try some... How they feel in the hand, on a bench,swung up to shoulder, the action, the mag capacity and function decide for yourself because only you can do that same for fit.
Mag style and capacity may dictate your choice of brand in factory rifles.

And don't buy a rossi in any caliber if your serious about 400+
