    Import permits

    Anyone dealt with import permits for parts such as stocks barrels etc since law changes? Want to get a few niche items but wondering if it's worth the hassle.

    I've imported stuff with permits, getting the permit is really not a hassle at all, just write it out and email to AO and it's approved.

    Download the form from the police website, fill in and email to

    PermitFirearms@police.govt.nz

    or drop in to your AO who will then send it to head office for approval.
