    Importing new firing pin for an old .22LR

    Hi There, having sourced a new firing pin for an old Krico .22LR, would I need to get an import permit for this from the local constabulary? Its a $USD20 part and was hoping this is not required

    Look on ebay.

    You can get all kinds of gun parts out of some parts of Europe without any kind of paperwork or hassle.

    I had the part delivered to a relative in Kentucky as a lot of companies don't ship out of the USA, so a bit of a dogleg in the shipping for sure.

    If the company your buying from exports no problem its under 100us so no export needed and I don’t think you will need a import for a firing pin but ring your Ao to be sure
    Ive even brought complete bolts in (did have to get a New Zealand import permit for that) it was under 100usd so no issues with the us government
