Strange, my AO says import permits are not needed, anyway good for for you.
This is what I have done (if others know better, speak up pls as I have only just started to do this myself). Go to Brownells, click on "available outside of the USA" select part and buy it, the order say waiting and then will go on hold. You will need to fill in 2 forms. Here they are,
DSP83 form, 930.pdfEnd User Statement II.pdf
"NONTRANSFER AND USE CERTIFICATE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"
Leave,
6. Certification of foreign consignee" as not applicable (you are getting the parts directly)
and
"8. Certification of foreign government" leave blank.
Write up a purchase order with a delivery address on it and hand sign it.
Contact International orders at Brownells and ask what to do. Sandy should say fill in the 2 forms above plus send a signed purchase order via airmail to me.
You will need to airmail post these to Brownells, it will take a month (ish).
