have a shooting cobber who bought a 12g baikal O/U for his son -if my memories correct gunsmith opened both barrels to 1/2choke (modified). After he gave it a cosmetic makeover its a lovely wee gun to use.Ive used it a couple of times and its great.
my 2nd gun is a Bently Pointer(early jap copy of the famous A5 Browning.)
Shes 1/2 choke fixed and due to age is limited to 2 3/4 steel. No1 gun escort is the feed it anything buts its diet is anything that is legal & flies with a lucky pig&unlucky hares thrown in.
both 12g did have probs with trap ammo but i solved this due to the advice of a waihora gunclub bloke and one Barry Foster. Hull trap ammo is just the bees knees for these two.
