It seems like really the ammo companies have forgotten a few of the basics re their customers. Yep sure we are prone to buying something flashy and new. But we will soon realise it has problems and it seems so obvious too me that our general limits on recoil will outlast a new fad.

Love my 270s. I never thought of it as a "low" recoil cal til I watched that first video. Damn! Mine are even tamer than the last guys, 24in barrel and a Gunworks can helps.

I was keenly interested in the 2nd guys extraction issue. I dont know the Savage rifle but Im suspecting its similar to the Ruger American 3 lug short throw bolt. We had exactly those extraction issues in 7mm08 with reloads, as others have also reported for the Ruger with factory ammo. One long thread later we had it sorted but ultimately the rifle manufacturers are going to have to solve the problem. The average Joe is not going to buy rifles that have those issues off the shelf with factory ammo. Let alone reloads. Anyway, good post. Thks.
