    Krico bolt action 22

Hey team, I'm going to be in the market for a 22 soon and have spotted a krico bolt action 22. From what I can tell it is unmolested, blueing is good and wood is tidy.

    Are they decent rifles?

I plan to use it to teach my kids to shoot and to bowl a few pesties. What sort of accuracy should I expect?

There are a few different models of the .22, all generally shoot exceptionally well. Magazines are hard to come by. Even better, most are only a few hundred bucks, cant go wrong mate. Most accurate .22 I have ever used.

I have a Krico bolt action and a Krico semi auto.22lr and both are exceptionally accurate and not too fussy when it comes to ammo selection. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

Have one thats been in the family for 50+ years, awesome German made rifles. Had 1 other over the years and shouldn't have sold it as it was 3 last numbers different on serial #, nearly a pair. As mentioned mags can be hard to find, only if you are silly enough to loose it.
    Good luck with the purchase.

There is a tidy looking Krico bolt action on trademe at present:

Just be aware this is an older, less common brand 22 and finding parts when needed can be a real problem. Springs, extractors, pins, mags etc could all be an issue when replacement required.

Looks like you have to be Nelson based as he is not offering shipping.

Great rifles but you will regret it if you can't find parts for it.

Mm yes very good point on the parts part. Maybe I'll keep an eye out for a cz 455 or 452. Or just go super cheap with a citadel or a mossberg
