    Speaking of quality /quantity I've just cut a rem 597 back to 16" and every third or fourth winchester sub now goes supersonic so that is something to be aware of as well.

    It's cut at 15 inches so couple wks will tell how it goes just finding a compact scope next

    Boltface to muzzle


    My 12" Ruger ran fine, now it's 13.5" or something, runs fine. Same speed as when it was 18" or whatever they come factory.

    Iv noticed this too. out of my ruger. good excuse to chop it further I rekin.

    pain in the ass really tho, as i like subs to be whisper quiet
