Thread: Leupold scope help, Need a Policeman!!!

Hi all, i recently picked up a couple of ex police (armed offenders?) Leupold Mark 4, 2.5-8 x 36 MR/T scopes. I got them for next to nothing so don't mind spending money if needed but unsure if I'll have to. the turrets are Custom as seen in pictures for .308 168 grain SMK but i suspect the lower numbers on the turret are in MIL and the top big numbers are set up like standard Leupold CDS in 100,150,200m ect... so in my mind i can just throw a strip of black tape around top numbers, zero and change my drop sheet to Mil not Moa? Anyway, makes sense in my mind but all ears if anyone has more information? also if anyone wants to let me know how to upload smaller pics I'd be happy to.
