    Lever action .22/.17hhmr

Howdy, any one got any experience with lever action 22s or .17hmrs?

Look like fun little tinkering/pest guns and bit more fun that the standard 10/22.
Realistically looking at the Henry .22 or Henry Varmint .17hmr price point but would love a Browning BL or 9422 if could find/afford!

    Cheers

I've got a bl22, the most fun rifle I have in the stable. Pretty heavy trigger but you get used to it. Very accurate and fun.

    Lever action .22/.17hhmr

I’ve got a Marlin 39a. The are a good rifle. Full size and weight, man size I guess and shoot well. Quite expensive new but you see one come up second hand for reasonable money every so often if your patient.

Whats up with that, its either a longer barrel or a shorter tube.

the intrnal mag tube has been shortened to keep the evil one happy. although you can keep your whole hand on the stock while cycling you can still get the web of your thumb under the hammer while reloading. still beats a stabbed finger on other model l/'s though
