LMT MARS-L How are they working out for the NZDF?.

I was wondering if anybody knows how these rifles are working out for the NZDF.

I did read that they had firing pin issues when first introduced, but haven't read anything since then.

I remember reading that and something about bolts cracking both to do with hardening I think? LMT resolved both issues I understand.

I've read and heard first hand the troops love them.

Damn, I want my AR15 back. It wasn't an LMT, but I wish I had it just the same.

I asked a guy in the Territorials, he said even a few weeks after being issued them, they were shooting similar scores to what they did with the Steyrs and years of familiarity, he seemed to like them.

Individual fire to 500. Styer was only good for section fire at 500

Is that in mint condition, or just with a worn barrel?

They're very good, much better than the old Steyr IMO.

Good bit of kit, all the issues to date have been ironed out. Only wish I could take out the ambi mag release
